THE RIGHTÂ MAN, THE RIGHT WOMAN?
As a psychic I am frequently asked is this new love or friend the “right†one for me. Usually followed by another question: will it last. Tricky questions only because we tend to attract to ourselves those people that we need to learn from and not so much the ones that are easy to be with and enjoy. We attract to us a man or woman who has something to teach us. That is not always a fun or pleasantly exciting experience.
If we are “shopping†for a soul mate it is wise to decide before taking the plunge what sort of person we need to be or what we need to heal in ourselves in order to attract the sort of person we desire. Are we clouding or limiting our opportunities by not addressing one of our own overriding (not so pleasant) personality traits. In other words to make an example of the extreme: if we are into ourselves so much that we could be called excessively selfish, we need not expect to find an open and generous soulmate.
To have a happy “coupling†we many times need to spend time working on ourselves. If we are happy with ourselves and our interactions with others, chances are other folks will notice and be attracted. It comes back to being honest, kind and friendly.
Then there is the obvious stuff: If he likes to sky dive and you are afraid of heights! If she wants to live in Hawaii and you only like the desert. Best step away! Physical attraction is great but if that is all there is… Metaphorically none of us really like to fall head first in the mud.
Having said all of that about relationships, as a psychic, yes, I can tell you whether a particular relationship has the prospect of lasting for an appreciable length of time. I can go even further and delve into whether it will be satisfying for either or both of you. If you want to know I can see if you have shared past lives as well.
For those of you who are still wandering, wondering or just plain looking, I suggest you try something brand new, an adventure! For instance have you tried an oil painting class? Could you learn competition swimming? In other words get into different environments, meet different people with differing ideas. Sometimes we seem to get stuck in our repetitive activities and never encounter a new idea or a new person. Get innovative. See what and who might be “out thereâ€.
We all like feeling comfortable, at ease, but a little innovation caused discomfort can push us to see things in a different and maybe better light. There is always more than one way to solve or investigate anything in life. Have fun. Try something new. Enjoy the ride.
